Daniel Peery, ARA, MAI began analyzing real estate as a youngster playing in the rock-bottomed creeks of his family’s small, diversified farm in northwest Missouri. After helping in the family farming businesses, Dan obtained his real estate salesperson license in 1983. Upon double-majoring at the University of Missouri, Columbia in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy, Dan embarked upon his full-time career helping folks with their agricultural and commercial real estate needs.
Applying hands-on practical experience from active participation in a successful farming partnership cultivating about 1,200 acres of cropland located in the Missouri River and Moreau River bottoms near Jefferson City, Missouri with broad-based real estate experience including work as a Realty Specialist with the Missouri Department of Conservation, mortgage banking, real estate brokerage, property management, consulting, and appraisal yields a deep and wide breadth of experience in the primary practice areas of rural real estate including all types of rural and commercial properties in small communities.
Current appraisal licenses are maintained in Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa, and through professional relationships services or referrals nationwide.
As an MAI Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, and an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, Dan has demonstrated the necessary commercial and agricultural property valuation experience and knowledge to produce a valuation that instills confidence. ARA and MAI Designated Members agree to adhere to codes of professional ethics and standards of professional appraisal practice, underscoring their commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.
Additional continuing education requirements help MAI and ARA Designated Members to stay informed of developments pertaining to real property valuation enabling them to provide valuations reflecting the latest in professional practice. The ARA and MAI designations have long been recognized by courts of law, government agencies, financial institutions, and investors as a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis
